About mSystems®
mSystems is an open-access journal that publishes preeminent work that stems from applying technologies for high-throughput analyses to achieve insights into the metabolic and regulatory systems at the scale of both the single cell and microbial communities. The mSystems Board of Editors is committed to providing authors with streamlined decisions, while carrying on ASM's tradition for rigorous peer review.
mSystems papers are posted online on an article-by-article basis and published as bimonthly issues throughout the year. Articles published in mSystems fully meet the open-access requirements of funding agencies such as the NIH and Wellcome Trust.
Usage Reports
Usage reports provide institutions with the number of HTML pageviews and PDF downloads of full text articles. If your institution has an online subscription to any of the following ASM journals (Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy®, Applied and Environmental Microbiology®, Clinical and Vaccine Immunology®, Clinical Microbiology Reviews®, Infection and Immunity®, Journal of Bacteriology®, Journal of Clinical Microbiology®, Journal of Virology®, Microbiology and Molecular Biology Reviews®, and/or Molecular and Cellular Biology®) and you will automatically be provided with usage statistics for mSystems as well. You can access your reports here. In addition, you can create an account on the HighWire Portal that allows you to access usage statistics and cross-journal reporting for all of your HighWire-hosted journals at once.
If your institution does not currently subscribe to an online ASM journal, you may contact us to request a free institutional account that will allow you to access mSystems usage data for your libraries.
We encourage you to demonstrate your commitment to making microbiology research widely available by ensuring mSystems is included in your institution's collection.
